If you have missing or damaged teeth, today’s dental technology offers faster, more precise solutions than ever before. Dental restorations like crowns, bridges, or dentures are now easier, quicker, and more comfortable thanks to advanced tools like CAD/CAM.
CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) allow us to digitally design and create custom restorations with pinpoint accuracy.
Instead of using messy impression material, we scan your mouth using a small handheld 3D camera. This quick, comfortable process captures a detailed digital model of your teeth — no goop, no gagging, no waiting. From there, we design and fabricate your restoration using cutting-edge technology for a perfect fit and natural look.
Once your digital scan is complete, the data is instantly sent to advanced design software that creates a precise 3D model of your teeth. Using this model, your dentist digitally sculpts your new tooth — carefully designing its shape, size, and fit based on how your upper and lower teeth come together. This is the CAD (Computer-Aided Design) part of the process.
Next comes CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing). The finalized design is sent to our in-office milling machine, where your dentist selects a ceramic or porcelain block that matches your natural tooth color. Then, diamond-coated drills go to work — carving your custom restoration with incredible speed and precision, right down to the fine details.
It’s like high-tech artistry — and it all happens while you relax just a room away.
CAD/CAM technology transforms the way we restore your smile with greater accuracy, speed, and convenience than ever before. Traditional methods using impressions, molds, and casting can sometimes lead to slight distortions, which may result in a crown that doesn’t fit quite right and needs extra adjustments.
With digital scanning and in-house fabrication, we get an incredibly precise fit the first time — no guesswork, no delays.
For a single crown, the milling process takes about 10 minutes. Once milled, the crown is polished, glazed for color and shine if needed, and then baked for final strength all in about 10 to 15 minutes. Best of all? You’ll leave with your permanent crown the very same day, instead of wearing a temporary one and coming back later.
Beautiful, durable results in just one visit.
